Orchard Technician
 

We are looking for a hardworking, committed and friendly person to join our team.

 

Working outdoors, looking after our farm fruit Orchards and preparing the Orchards for our varying PYO Fruit seasons when we open the farm to the public.

 

You will be looking after Pear & Plum Orchards. Your main tasks will be :-

Pruning

Weed Control

Crop Management & Picking

 

No previous experience necessary as full training will be given.

Animal Technician

Our Farm animals are part of our family and we are looking for a kind. Caring, and hard working person to look after them.

 

The role involves :-

Cleaning their housing

Refreshing their huts with straw

Feeding & Watering

Poo Picking

Grooming Horses

Checking their overall well being

 

You must have a love of animals and confidence around animals.

All relevant training will be given

Market Gardener

New for this year is our Market Garden.

 

Do you have a love for growing food and flowers!

Working to the seasons you will be preparing the gardens ready for seed sowing and planting.

 

As our Market Gardener you will be working outside and in our new Polytunnel growing food and plants for supplying local cafés and markets.

 

This role may also involve meeting our customers, selling our farm produce, therefore excellent customer service skills are also desirable.

Main Job Tasks include :- Weeding. Soil Preparation, Digging, Seed Sowing, growing and looking after plants.

 

You will be working mainly outdoors, in all weathers.

No previous experience necessary as full training will be given.

Do you like making things? Are you creative? We are looking for a trainee Carpenter to make various items for our ever expanding farm, from signposts to plant markers. The role involves :- Sawing and cutting wood Sanding pieces of wood Recycling furniture Painting Working with other teams of the farm All relevant training will be given

Tea Barn Retail Assistant

​

Are you great at talking to people and can recommend our products to our customers.

We are looking for someone who can give great customer satisfaction, work well in a team and enjoy building cust0mer relations.

Your role will involve setting up our creative and handmade craft stall, displaying our products to attract the cusromers.

Attention to detail is a must along with an outgoing and cheerful personality.
