WE ARE OPEN EVERY Thursday Friday SATURDAY & SUNDAY 10 -3
Little Fant Farm is a hidden heritage cottage farm, set within the scenic Medway Valley Fruit Orchards, on the Western side of Maidstone, Kent.
Our farm makes a great day out for families, where you can walk around the farm, see our animals and relax in Sonya's Barn Bakery with a nice cup of tea, freshly made coffee and farm made cakes and savoury treats. We probably have the best Sausage Rolls ever! See our full menu
The farm consists of Pear & Plum Orchards, Pumpkin Patch & PYO Sunflowers
We have a small mix of rescued farm animals which you can find on our Little farmer Explorer Trail
Other events are held throughout the year and school holidays, please check our facebook events page or What's On pagefor further details.
Entrance is off Farleigh Lane, Maidstone, ME16 9LY or the surrounding Public Footpaths.
We have a designated Picnic Area for our Summer Holiday Opening, full details on our Summer Holiday page
Dogs are allowed on the farm, as long as they are kept on a very tight lead.
Please follow our farm safety guideance before you visit. Thank you
How to Find Us
By Foot
Easily reachable by Public Footpath, Little Fant Farm can be found at the end of Fant Farm farm track off Hackney/Upper Fant Road, or via the public footpaths off Farleigh Lane/ Gatland Lane. Approx 10 mins, may be longer if you have an inquisitive child or dog! Wonderful views to be seen across the valley.
If you are following the Medway River Walk, we are close to East Farleigh Train Station, cross the railway line, and opposite The Victory Public House there is a footpath, follow that for approx 5/10 mins and you will come across our Pigs first. This is a narrow footpath to start with, with a small but steep climb, (not suitable for a buggy). The footpath then opens up and is alot wider.
By Train
As above, depart at East Farleigh train station and head up the hill, Farleigh Lane, not across the River, although have a meander around there first, as it is very picturesque.
By Car
We have parking available at the Farm, when we have our 'Pop Up' Farm Shops, all other times please park nearby and follow some of the public footpath routes as detailed above.
All our animals can be seen from the Public Footpaths and we do allow permitted access through some parts of the farm.
Our Animals look forward to seeing you!
